Curriculum
K-12:
Our Kindergarten through 12th grade programs utilize state approved Special Education curriculum, as well as curriculum approved/adopted by Los Angeles Unified School District, and Antelope Valley Union High School District. The Curriculum includes basic core requirements such as reading, writing, language arts, social studies, science and math. Our creative curriculum includes programming in the areas of social skills, community based instruction, functional skills training, transition planning, and career preparation. School begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Nutritious lunches, which are Gluten Free & Casein Free, as well as, snacks can be provided at an additional fee.

At AACA, we believe that in designing education programs for individuals with developmental challenges, complete programs that meet each individual’s specific needs are most effective when provided at one location. Most children with developmental challenges do not transition or generalize easily. In order for an intervention strategy to be more effective, it must generalize into the home and community as well as be effective in the classroom. This means that services designed to support the family and enhance coping skills must also be available.
AACA offers many different modalities of therapy designed to treat a wide variety of challenges. We are here to provide individuals with any or all of the services required to support children in the meeting their individualized goals and needs. In addition to full academic curriculum, AACA offers the following adjunct services listed to the right:
